About Us
The Peyvand Registry Office was established in 2004 in Toronto, Canada, by Mr. Mohammad Sotoudehfar. He arrived in Canada in 2000 and holds a Master's degree in Law from Iran. After residing in Toronto for some time, he recognized the noticeable lack of legal services related to Iran, especially for the growing Iranian immigrant community, which highlighted the need for an official and specialized office capable of properly addressing the legal needs of fellow Iranians.
At that time, only two or three marriage offices were operating in Toronto, and with the increasing Iranian population, the need for a more organized and professional center became increasingly evident. The name "Peyvand" was chosen from the beginning with the aim of creating a worthy and meaningful bond between Iranian couples, and over nearly 16 years of continuous activity, this office has had the honor of uniting hundreds of Iranian and non-Iranian couples.
The Peyvand Registry Office conducts marriage ceremonies both at the office and in halls or homes, beautifully and in accordance with the tastes and wishes of the couples. The activities of this office are not limited to marriages but also include a wide range of services, including Islamic (Sharia) divorce and Canadian divorce by mutual agreement for individuals who, after undergoing necessary consultations and preliminary reviews, have concluded that separation is their only option.

In addition, the Peyvand Registry Office offers a wide range of specialized services, including: preparing and completing consular forms for matters such as child birth certificates, replacement of ID cards, passport renewal, police clearance certificates, national ID cards, military service purchases, official invitation letters, as well as drafting precise texts of various powers of attorney professionally and online.
Regarding activities within Canada, the office also provides services such as notarized copies of documents and attestation of affidavits.
Furthermore, Mr. Mohammad Sotoudehfar holds an official marriage license in the province of Ontario, Canada, Islamic and Iranian marriage licenses, and an official Islamic divorce license from Iran, and the Peyvand Registry Office is the only official office in Canada that possesses all of these licenses.
